I’ve been catching up on all things girly the last couple of weekends. Last week we went to the Royal NZ Ballet’s Cinderella, this week we did our nails and made fancy chocolates. I’d stopped in at the Japan Store on the way home just looking for origami paper and walked out with a bag full of other stuff, including nail polish, nail jewels and chocolate molds. I swear, if that shop was in Sth Aucks I’d spend way too much money on the regular… We ate them as fast as we made them but did manage to save a few for gifts.
Sarah & Jess also had a birthday party at the Girly Girls Club for their cousin Shanelle. I made the birthday cake, taking my Third Heaven cake and making it all pretty for a lil girl complete with flowers and fairy – the first time I’ve used modelling chocolate. While I was at it made a lil mini cake for my sis-in-law Cher as well. Not too shabby for a first attempt at making characters lol…
